I called Dr. Akash’s clinic on a Sunday around 2 PM after my friend had an eye emergency from using expired eye products. Though the clinic had shut at 1 PM, Dr. Akash asked if it was urgent and immediately said he would wait for us. He genuinely sacrificed his Sunday afternoon post lunch just to help us out and that kind of dedication is rare.
During the checkup he explained everything in detail — what was causing the swelling and inflammation and what we could do to care for the eyes long term. He did not rush us at all, stayed calm throughout, and answered all our doubts with patience and clarity.
What really stood out was his approach. He does not just treat but educates you. He helped us understand the condition and the treatment without creating panic which really helped ease our fears.
I was provided with a detailed eye analysis (various parameters) that no other eye doctor had ever explored before, which made a huge difference in understanding my eye health.
I received a followed up personally by Dr. over WhatsApp later to check if everything was fine.
Dr. Akash is highly qualified with FCRS, extremely approachable, and one of the few eye specialists in Mumbai who genuinely puts patient care first.
